do you think he should be the next cia director? >> well i think that's another issue and another position that is, you know, everybody's a little bit fuzzy on right now. i think you need to have more questions be answered on his nomination as well. so we'll see. bill: it appears the questions on brennan go directly to the u.s. policy on drones. we had rand paul on yesterday, the senator from kentucky. he is adamant that he will not allow brennan to go forward unless he answers a simple question. and that is, whether or not it is u.s. policy and u.s. law to use a drone over american skies and target americans here at home. what is your view on that? >> well, bottom line, i think senator paul has every right to have his questions answered. you're putting someone in a position in the cia that obviously is going to be making decisions that affect everyday americans not only here but abroad. he has that right to have those questions answered. we need to have a full disclosure from the administration as to what the policy is going to be.

his reason for why john brennan should not be cia director? of course, he's a secret muslim. >> he has interwoven his life, professionally and personally, with individuals that we know are terrorists, and he has given them access to not only senior leaders inside the government, but has given them access to the national security council, the national security staff. he has brought known hamas and muslim brotherhood operatives into those positions of government. mr. brennan did convert to islam when he served in an official capacity on behalf of the united states in saudi arabia. his conversion to islam was the culmination of a counterintelligence operation against him, to recruit him. >> there you have it. john brennan secretly converted to islam while on the job in saudi arabia. he's been helping terrorists, of course, that guy says, get federal jobs ever since. wow. >>> what's wrong with this picture? here is a snapshot of the mississippi supreme court on friday. yes, you are looking at the confederate flag right there. so what was that civi

but in any case, you're not going to have a cia director either until after the recess. >> if chuck hagel ultimately ends up confirmed, and that was part of the white house statement today saying listen, he has majority support, he got 58 votes on the cloture vote today, which implies he is going to be confirmed, if they ever allow a vote. once we get defense secretary chuck hagel, what does what we just went through mean for what the relationship's going to be like between congress and the pentagon? congress and the pentagon are a little bit at each other's throats right now anyway because of the negotiations around the sequester and how the pentagon budget is going to proceed not only over this next year but over the next few years. what's it going to mean between congress and the pentagon once chuck hagel's in charge after they made him go through this? >> well, if the president thought that by having a republican in the cabinet at the pentagon he was going to buy any kind of loyalty or relationship with republican senators, he can think again about that. because this simply isn't happ
